Love

LOVE is the POWER..

8 Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Though I did regret it–I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while–9 yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us.
2 Corinthians 7 : 8-9

LOVE is PURPOSEFUL
LOVE is REGRETFUL
LOVE is GRATEFUL (",)

Learn From Your Mistakes

How do we learn from our mistakes?

1. Don’t see your mistake as a failure, but see it as a lesson to be learned ~
A baby doesn’t fall down when trying to walk and stay down. It gets back up and tries to walk again. We must recognize that we will stumble and fall in this life, but we have to get back up, learn from what we did wrong and keep walking.

2.Don’t be so hard on yourself when you fail, because you are only human ~
Failure is an event it is not a person. Remember, that we can always learn from our failures by understanding what we did wrong and by next time choosing to do better. Don’t think it’s the end of your world because you made one mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. It’s what makes us human. Always remind yourself that your worth is not what you do right or wrong, but your worth is defined by God’s unconditional love for you. You are not a failure you are a precious child of God.

3.Admit to your mistake and keep a teachable spirit ~
A failure is only failure if we fail to admit that we failed. To deny our mistake is ignorance and pride. But when we admit to what we did wrong, own up to it and take responsibility to not do it again we can learn to be better people. Failures humble us and humility is what makes us appreciate God, others and the life we live. Always keep a teachable spirit and you will only grow wiser from every mistake you make.

4.Don’t be afraid to fail, because our failures lead us to our true successes in life ~

Thomas Edison (famous scientist) failed with over 1000 inventions before he invented the light bulb. If Thomas Edison simply said after his third failed invention, “I’m nothing but a failure and I quit inventing because I have no hope” then we would maybe never have electricity and light. Thomas once said,

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work” -Thomas Elva Edison (1847-1931)

Don't be afraid to make a mistake. Learn from them and you will become a better person. Everyone who has ever done anything great in this life has had failures. It's part of life. Don't be so hard on yourself. Don't take yourself so seriously. Stay humble and never stop learning

Another important message from Rev. Jaeson Ma. =]
God can forgive the sins/mistakes/wrongs that we have did before, but I don't think it's a good reason for us to continue commit ourselves in making the same mistakes in our daily life. Amen? We have to commit ourselves not to make the same mistakes again. I strongly believe our bad habits can be overcome with having a daily devotions and prayer life regularly.

"8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." 1 John 1:8-10

God bless.

Responsibility

A few ways to take responsibility:

1. Do what needs to be done~

Don’t try to justify your wrong actions, don’t keep saying you are trying to make yourself feel better just do what is right.

2. Be accountable for your actions. Don’t make excuses or blame others ~

There will always be someone to blame but yourself. The world is not perfect.Bad things will happen to us, but it is how we choose to respond that makes the difference. If you are in the wrong, own your wrong and take personal responsibility to make it right.

3. Fulfill your moral obligations ~

There is nothing worse than knowing what is morally right to do and not doing it. Don’t live a life of regrets, rather live a life that is righteous by doing your best to do what is right and fulfilling your word to do what you say you will do. Don’t say you will do something unless you are committed to doing it. Integrity is everything. If you lose integrity you have lost it all.

4. Use good judgment and think through the consequences of your actions ~

Don’t be ignorant when making important choices. Know that every choice you make has a positive or negative effect. Use sound judgment before you do anything important in life. Pray about it. Think it through. Evaluate the consequences of your actions before you make them and your life will be a lot more problem and stress free.

5. Exercise Self Control ~

Don’t say you can’t stop. We can all do anything if we put our mind to it. Recognize you have a personal issue, struggle or problem and that you need help. Ask God for help through prayer to overcome the temptation at hand and then choose to make the right choice. We all have the God given power to choose right from wrong. The decision is yours by exercising self-control and acting on our convictions, not our feelings.

When we take responsibility it puts us in charge of our lives. We get to own up to who we really are, face our fears and overcome our fears by doing what is right. It may not be easy, but life never is. We can’t change our circumstances; we can’t change others unless we first learn to change ourselves. If we want different results in our lives, we need to change what is wrong in our lives. Change can happen when we take responsibility for our mistakes, make no excuses and just do it!

God bless.

michelle in the house Xp

God uses us..

Hey there.. tis is oni my first post.. haha improvements will definately b made if im just given more time heehee.. im here to share a story. Or u call it.. a testimony.

It was the first day of my STPM trial. A friend of mine was confused about the format of a graph when we were doing revision before the exam. So she came n asked me. And i cant give her a firm answer because even the teacher cant give a firm answer. So she was kind of frustrated and asked "then how?"

Then i answer her, " I dunno.. Pray lo! " ( she is a christian bdw)

Then she told me i made her felt guilty. She said ever since she stopped going church, she forgot to pray n read the bible. And i always reminds her to pray. ( cz when i cant get an answer i will jz say "pray lo!" =p )

So.. she said she felt guilty whenever i ask her to pray. Why guilty? Because she forgot to rely on God.

So.. the point im trying to say is.. Dont forget to rely on God. God is always there ready to help us whener we need Him. And one more ting. When she said i made her felt guilty and always reminded her to pray.. honestly.. i dunno wat i said could make someone felt like that. Its like pulling someone who is far away from God to come to God again. God uses me. Although its just a small little tiny task God gave me bt im proud to get this task done. So.. remember.. whatever u are doin.. U are doing it for God. He is always watching u and He is ready to use u anytime.. XD
